Amazon ElastiCache

Managed Redis. Makes sense if you are all-in on AWS.

ElastiCache gives you managed Redis (or Memcached) with automatic failover, backups, and patching. If you're running Redis on AWS, ElastiCache removes the operational overhead.

The cost is higher than self-managed Redis on EC2, but the operational simplicity justifies it for most teams. Automatic failover and Multi-AZ replication provide reliability that's difficult to configure correctly on your own.
