What data we receive

The site does not host a contact form. The Contact page presents mailto: and tel: links that open your own email or phone app. When you choose to email contact@avantmedia.uk, you decide what information to share — typically your name, email address, and a description of the project you want to discuss.

The site receives standard server logs through Amazon CloudFront whenever any page loads: IP address, requested URL, referring page, browser user-agent, and timestamps. These are routine HTTP-level signals that any web server records.

The site runs no analytics platform. There is no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Fathom, no third-party tracking pixel of any kind. Page-load patterns are visible only via the CloudFront access logs above.

Why we hold it (lawful basis)

Email exchanges fall under legitimate interests (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) — Avant Media needs to read and reply to enquiries about engaging the studio, and you sent the email expecting a response. CloudFront access logs fall under legitimate interests for operating and securing the website.

Avant Media does not run a marketing email list and does not send unsolicited communications. If that ever changes, the opt-in will be explicit and the consent withdrawal trivial.

How long we keep it

• Email correspondence: 24 months from the last reply, unless an engagement begins — in which case retained for the contractual duration plus 7 years (UK statutory accounting period).
• CloudFront access logs: 30 days.

Who we share it with

Avant Media uses one sub-processor to operate the site:

• Amazon Web Services (AWS): hosting and CDN. Region: us-east-1 (United States).

No analytics, no email-marketing platform, no CRM, no advertising network has access to data processed by this site.

International transfers

Hosting runs in AWS region us-east-1 (United States). Personal data transferred to AWS in the US is covered by the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, in conjunction with the AWS Data Processing Addendum and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. No other international transfers occur.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data Avant Media holds about you.
• Rectification — correct inaccurate data.
• Erasure — request deletion (the “right to be forgotten”).
• Restriction — limit how the data is used.
• Portability — receive a copy in a machine-readable format.
• Object — challenge processing based on legitimate interests.
• Withdraw consent — where consent is the lawful basis (none currently).

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. There is no analytics, no advertising network, and no tracking pixel. Nothing on the page reads or writes browser storage on behalf of a third party.
