Highcharts produces publication-quality charts with excellent interactivity. Line charts, area charts, scatter plots, heatmaps, and more — all with responsive sizing, tooltips, and animation out of the box. The API is mature and the documentation is comprehensive.

The commercial licence is justified by the rendering quality and the breadth of chart types. For dashboards and data visualisation in enterprise applications, Highcharts saves weeks of custom SVG work. The React wrapper integrates cleanly with component-based architectures.
