AngularJS

End of life since 2021. Every day without migrating costs more.

AngularJS (1.x) reached end of life in December 2021. No security patches, no bug fixes, no community support. Google themselves abandoned it and built Angular (2+) as a complete rewrite with no migration path.

If it's still in production, it's a security liability. The two-way data binding that made it popular is also its performance ceiling. Modern frameworks — React, even Angular 2+ — handle state and rendering fundamentally better. Every sprint spent maintaining AngularJS is a sprint not spent migrating to something supported.
